Terms and conditions pregnancy course Hypnobirthing at Hypnobirthingrandstad

1. General

1.1 The general terms and conditions apply to the pregnancy courses of Hypnobirthingrandstad
1.2 Teacher means the teacher working at Hypnobirthingrandstad.
1.3 Student means the pregnant woman and her partner. Partner means the person who supports the pregnant woman during birth.
1.4 The pregnancy course Hypnobirthing, provided by Hypnobirthingrandstad, is a course in preparation for childbirth.

2. The course

2.1 The course types, course dates and times can be found on www.hypnobirthingrandstad.nl. These dates are subject to sufficient registrations. In case of insufficient registrations, i.e. less than 3 couples, the course dates will be moved. The student will be notified in time.
2.2 If the student does not receive a message, the course continues on the dates as stated on the website.

3. Registration

3.1 Registration for the course is done via the booking system on the website www.hypnobirthingrandstad.nl
3.2 Applications are processed in order of receival and when a group is full, it can no longer be booked.
3.3 When a course group is already fully booked, the student can be put on the reserve list for that group. If another group is suitable for the student, she can register for that group and if someone from the first group choice drops out, the student will be notified.

4. Correspondence

4.1 Correspondence via email. If you change your e-mail address, please notify us as soon as possible by email at Esther@hypnobirthingrandstad.nl
4.2 If a student is unable to attend a class on the scheduled course date, it will not be possible to catch up with another group.
4.3 In the unlikely event that the student cannot attend a lesson on the planned course date, the teacher will inform the student about that lesson by telephone or facetime, or extra time can be planned with the teacher before the next lesson. The student cannot get a course fee back for lessons not taken.

5. Liability

5.1 HypnoBirthingRandstad is in no way liable for damage to and/or loss of personal belongings that are taken by the student to the course, or damage or injury that occurs during or after following the course.
5.2 Medical condition of the student. The student has to assess herself whether participation in the course is possible. Hypnobirthingrandstad is not responsible for any inconveniences or conditions caused by the student's medical condition. 
5.3 The student understands that the course and course materials are not a substitute for medical care. The Hypnobirthingrandstad course instructor is not a substitute for medical advice about the student's pregnancy. The student's GP, obstetrician and gynaecologist are responsible for her pregnancy.

6. Payment

6.1 After registration and payment via the webshop, the student will receive a confirmation of receipt. At registration the student is obliged to pay. Afterwards, the student will receive an invoice from Hypnobirthingrandstad. This can be submitted to the health insurer after completing the course, if the application is reimbursed.
6.2 Most health insurers (partly) reimburse the costs of the course. The amount of this reimbursement may vary per health insurer. Most health insurers reimburse after the course has been completed. Ask your health insurer about the policy conditions. The responsibility for applying for reimbursement from the health insurer lies with the student.

7. Cancellation by the student

7.1 The student can terminate an agreement regarding the purchase of the cusrus during a reflection period of at least 14 days without giving any reason. Hypnobirthingrandstad may ask the consumer about the reason for withdrawal, but not oblige him to state his reason (s).
7.2 Term for repayment after dissolution as referred to in Article 7.1
After dissolution as referred to in article 7.1, the full purchase amount will be refunded within 14 days after dissolution.
7.3. The reflection period referred to in paragraph 7.1 commences on the day after the student, or a third party designated by the consumer in advance, has received the confirmation or proof of purchase of the course.
7.4 After the reflection period of at least 14 days referred to in paragraph 7.1, the following conditions apply: If the student cannot participate in the course due to circumstances, she must immediately inform Hypnobirthingrandstad. If canceled up to four weeks before the start of the course, € 25 administration costs will be charged. This will be deducted from the paid course fee. The remaining amount will be returned. From four to three weeks before the start of the course, 50% of the course amount is due. After that, the full course amount is due. Full refund of the course fee can only be made if one of the exceptions below is the case:

• If the student gives birth prematurely (before 37 weeks of pregnancy) before the start of the first course day.
• When the student is unable to participate in the course for medical reasons and there is no possibility to attend the lesson by means of facetime/zoom , a statement from the doctor/midwife is required).
• When another student takes place before the start of the course (this can sometimes be clear just before the start of the course).

8. Cancellation by Hypnobirthingrandstad

8.1 Hypnobirthingrandstad reserves the right to cancel or postpone the course in case of insufficient registrations or in case of force majeure. The student will of course be informed about this. Any course fees paid will be returned in this case, or will be held in custody for a subsequent course period.
8.2 If a lesson is canceled due to illness of the teacher or other force majeure, Hypnobirthingrandstad ensures that the lesson takes place at a different time. Hypnobirthingrandstad will endeavor at all times to offer the student the opportunity to take the course is completed in short term.

9. Confidentiality

9.1 The teacher will treat the information provided by the student confidentially.

10. Rates

10.1 The rates of the course can be found on the website www.hypnobirthingrandstad.nl. The responsibility for applying for reimbursement from the health insurer lies with the student.

11. Complaints

11.1 A student can submit a complaint by email to Hypnobirthingrandstad: Esther@hypnobirthingrandstad.nl
11.2 A complaint is always handled within 14 days.
It can always happen that something does not go quite as planned. We recommend that you first report complaints to Hypnobirthigrandstad by emailing Esther@hypnobirthingrandstad.nl. If this does not lead to a solution, it is possible to register your dispute for mediation via Stichting WebwinkelKeur via https://www.webwinkelkeur.nl/kennisbank/consumenten/geschil.
11.3 From February 15, 2016, it is also possible for consumers in the EU to register complaints via the ODR platform of the European Commission. This ODR platform can be found at http://ec.europa.eu/odr. If your complaint is not yet being processed elsewhere, you are free to file your complaint via the European Union platform.
